Torrance, CA, September 22, 2010 - McLaren has always been known for its continuous investment in new state-of-the-art production and rubber testing technologies. We’re happy to announce one of our latest developments, the Orange non-marking rubber compound for tires and tracks.
McLaren formulates its rubber compounds to be product and application specific. The list of current products manufactured with the Orange compound includes a variety of popular McLaren tire and rubber track product lines, such as the signature McLaren NextGen TDF high performance track loader tracks, as well as the recently introduced TurfGlide Series of turf-friendly rubber tracks for track loaders. The Nu-Air Tire line will be available in the orange non-marking compound as well, fulfilling contractors’ needs for non-marking flat-proof skid steer tires. In addition, the Protrac Rubber series over-the-tire track system for skid steers will be also available with non-marking rubber pads. The prices of the Orange products do not differ substantially from their black rubber counterparts, thus making the non-marking option equally affordable.
McLaren’s rubber compounding capability has always been one of our main strengths. Our compounding professionals have been mastering the science of transforming natural rubber into a wide range of quality finished products. Our Thailand-based facility, which was recently ISO 9001:2008-certified, works directly with the world’s best natural rubber producing farms to satisfy the strict quality requirements that our customers demand.
